English lavender is a small aromatic evergreen shrub of Lamiaceae family that grows up to 1 m. It has a taproot that grows deeply in the soil. The stem has many branches. Usually it has narrow, simple, entire, toothed or lobed leaves in gray – green color.
The flowers are small tubular in dense spikes in blue and purple color. Flowers bloom from end April to end of September, having the peak in June – July.
