It is a perennial herbaceous, soft-bodied, trailing rhizome from which underground stolons emerge.
The rhizome forms a straight, thin stalk with or without branching that grows 20-100 cm high. The leaves are small greenish-gray, with no tail, soft, almost vigorous, double pendulous, hairy.
The flowers are white or rose pink, clustered in small clusters, arranged on the sides of the branches in a shape of vistaku. The flowers are dimorphic, in the sides the female ones with white lilies or purple, in the centre the hermaphrodite ones with 5-tooth.
The fruit is achene, in oval or elongated pressed form without trichome.
